Diebold's Global Security Division Conducts
Water-tight Test On Library of Congress Safe
Diebold recently put one of its safes to a water-tight test at
the company’s security facility in Canton, Ohio, to see if it could withstand
water leaks.
Individuals from Stark State Fire Training Technical College drenched the
5,500-pound safe from several angles with 60 gallons of water per minute for
more than 15 minutes.
The safe
has a double-door design and stands 70 inches high, 65 ½ inches wide and 55 ½
inches deep. It also has a full alarm system.
