Global Security Division introduces DVR Health Check campaign
Diebold’s global security division recently introduced the DVR Health Check campaign, promoting the service that provides Verint microDVR™, NetDVR™ and NetDVR II customers with a daily e-mail describing the health status of each identified digital video recorder (DVR) in their network.  DVR Health Check assesses DVRs across a customer’s network and performs a regular routine check-up of diagnostics including connectivity to the network, hardware condition, software function, power stability, disk drive operation and capacity, and DVR temperature.

If any potential issues are discovered during this analysis, the customer’s daily e-mail will detail these problems so necessary actions can be taken. "DVR Health Check is a new monitoring service that promotes superior uptime of a customer's surveillance system," said Ann Poston, Diebold’s marketing specialist, global security division.  "The DVR Health Check service identifies the problem before it adversely impacts the customer's security system.  It's another way to enhance our customers' security solutions and their overall Diebold experience."

Diebold recognized for 2007 United Way fundraising efforts

Last year, Diebold raised nearly $505,000 for United Way of Greater Stark County. “We are honored to receive these awards and dedicate our efforts to such a giving organization,” said Sheila Rutt, Diebold’s vice president and chief human resources officer. “We will continue to support United Way of Greater Stark County in its mission to energize the community by addressing human needs with measurable results.”
