Diebold solutions protect the American way of life
As July 4th approaches, many Americans will celebrate the country’s birthday by flying flags, attending fireworks displays and having picnics.  While individuals may appreciate their freedom to participate in these activities, they may not recognize the foundation these freedoms were built upon -- a foundation Diebold still works to protect every day.

Diebold solutions secure our nation’s most prized symbols of independence – the Charters of Freedom – which include the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Protecting these precious documents isn’t just an important job; it’s a matter of national pride.  After all, these works declare America’s freedom, create its government system and declare its citizens’ rights. That adds up to more than just taking care of some papers; it means protecting a way of life - a job Diebold continues to make a top priority.

Diebold expert discusses deposit automation trends during Webinar
Diebold’s Peg Bost, director of market development, discussed the benefits and process of image-enabled ATM deposit automation during a Webinar titled, “TransChannel Deposit Automation: Creating an image-enabled ATM success story?”  The Webinar was hosted by Alogent, a leading global provider of enterprise payment processing solutions that enable financial institutions and processors to accelerate the conversion of paper to electronic processing. Diebold and Alogent partnered to integrate Alogent's products with Diebold's image-enabled ATMs. The integration helps to accelerate transactions and automate back-office processes.

During the Webinar, Bost and another industry professional reviewed a case study involving deposit automation trends and provided hard facts about a live, image-enabled ATM deposit automation installation at First Horizon Bank in Memphis, Tenn. To view the Webinar, click here.

Diebold leaders speak at TAG National Conference
Scott Harroff
, Diebold’s director of global information security, is just one of many Diebold experts who spoke at the TAG National Conference on June 11 to 14 at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront Hotel in Savannah, Ga. TAG, or The Advisory Group, was created in 1978 and consisted of a select number of Diebold customers that served as a beta test group for Diebold's first ATMs. Today, TAG remains a one-of-a-kind organization in the industry, and has evolved into an independent user group encompassing financial institutions and ATM deployers of all sizes.
