Diebold Canada
becomes enterprise certified partner
Diebold Canada recently became a certified enterprise
partner through the 2008 Software House Dealer Certification
Program. Diebold Canada has been Software House’s largest Canadian
integrator for the past five years. Enterprise partner status is the
highest level of dealer certification Software House offers and is
given to companies that are registered Software House integrators
for at least one year; maintain a 60 percent or greater software
support agreement penetration rate for Software House’s CURE
800/CURE 9000 security systems products, and operate within their
credit terms with the company and its distributors.
The Software House Dealer Certification Program is
only offered to companies that are nominated by their Software House
area sales manager as one of the highest performing authorized
integrators in the region. “Obtaining enterprise partner status
shows that we have invested in advanced product training and IT
certifications, and that we have a long history of customer
satisfaction,” said Dan Marston, national sales manager,
electronic security division, Diebold Canada. “Oftentimes, companies
that have achieved this status are the first dealers recommended for
jobs because they have guaranteed, up-to-date training, and the
skills necessary to install and support the most complicated
networked systems.”
Diebold Enterprise Security, based in White Plains, N.Y., has
also achieved enterprise partner status with Software House.
Diebold
forms strategic alliance with Passlogix
To add
greater depth and breadth to the company’s logical security suite,
Diebold formed a
strategic
alliance with Passlogix Inc., a provider of
single sign-on and related authentication solutions. The agreement
authorizes Diebold to sell, install and service Passlogix’s v-GOŽ
solutions that simplify and secure application access, improve
authentication and support corporate identity management objectives.
It also paves the way for integrated solutions enabling end users to
access doors, computers and applications with a single device
combining Diebold and Passlogix technologies.
“We are committed to establishing Diebold as an innovative and
trusted end-to-end physical and logical security integrator and
advisor,” said Brad Stephenson, Diebold vice president,
physical security group. “We selected Passlogix as
our enterprise single sign-on partner because of its long history of
technology leadership and successful implementations in this
space.”
Scott Harroff, Diebold chief information security architect, concurs. “This agreement enhances our
capabilities in support of customers seeking a partner who can
provide an integrated physical and logical solution from design to
implementation.”
Diebold adds
additional Integrated Services Symposiums
As a
result of positive customers’ responses to its Integrated Services
Symposiums, Diebold is extending its Integrated Services tour to
include stops at Northern Virginia during the week of May 19;
Memphis, Tenn., during the week of June 2; and Tucson, Ariz., during
the week of June 22.
“I think the most important piece of the Integrated
Services Symposium is not only that our customers can feel our
enthusiasm for the solution, but realize this package encompasses
multiple solutions with a tangible return on investment,” said
Diebold’s Mark Tankle, Eastern area vice president.
“Integrated Services helps financial institutions with a limited
capital budget with the need to update technology as well as
eliminate multiple contact points, increase uptime and improve their
brand.”
A total of 56 customers representing 28 financial
institutions attended the recent session held in Boston, Mass.,
during the week of April 1.
