The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) mandated that U.S. banks must have a plan to implement two-factor authentication in all electronic banking activities by the end of 2006. Diebold's mobile banking solution meets and exceeds these requirements.

Customers actively participate in fraud mitigation by utilizing the card lock feature. Consumers may leave their card locked until it’s time to conduct a transaction or lock the card on occasions where it is misplaced or out of immediate possession (e.g. left at a restaurant).
