Diebold concrete modular UL listed vault panels
are considerably lighter and thinner than site-poured walls, giving you almost
unlimited flexibility when sizing or locating your vault. Plus, modular
vaults can be expanded and/or relocated as needed.
Design
Modular vault design can be virtually any shape, size or height. Select
one of many standard sizes and configurations. Or let Diebold’s
Architectural and Engineering Services group design a vault with the width,
depth and height measurements that meet your exact dimensions. and provide
drawings to the architect.
Diebold’s concrete modular vault systems
provide security beyond Bank Act and ISO standards and meet UL Class M, I, II
and III requirements. Assembly method meets all seismic codes, and ADA
requirements can be met with a 9-foot, 8-inch wide vault (2.93M).
The thin, pre-formed concrete walls let you
make the best use of valuable floor space. Diebold modular vault systems allow a
clear span of up to 19 feet (5.79m) without the use of support beams, providing
even greater design flexibility for placing safe deposit boxes, lockers, etc.
and the lighter weight simplifies above-ground-level installations.
Fabrication
Each panel is formed to rigid specifications using Diebold's exclusive
high-density composite concrete mix. Interlacing each panel are steel fibers -
over 200 pounds (90.72 Kg.) in every cubic yard of mix. A welded grid of
reinforcement bars further helps to resist penetration by drills, impact
hammers, saws, torches and other mechanical and electrical tools. The panel is
then cured to more than three times the hardness of typical site-poured concrete
walls.
Installation and Relocation
Pre-engineered panels allow fast, easy installation. Panels arrive on site,
fully cured and ready to be installed in as little as a single day. No more
waiting for site-poured concrete walls to cure. No moisture problems, either.
Diebold-trained technicians, part of a 2,300
member strong nationwide service and support organization, construct each vault
on-site according to stringent Diebold installation standards and procedures.
Panels are joined using a welded assembly. This assembly method is so strong,
it's approved for all seismic zones. Even if your geographic area does not
dictate this type of construction, it's reassuring to know that it's built into
every Diebold modular vault system.
Best of all, a Diebold modular vault is never
obsolete. Add panels at any time as your storage requirements increase. Or
disassemble and move the vault to another location .
