Pneumatic Transport System.
Ideal
for transporting large items like syringes or large bottles, this system
features 10-inch (25.4 cm) diameter overhead steel tubing. Two remote blowers
pull the captive carrier through the tubing to the customer unit and two pull it
back to the operator terminal within the pharmacy. The system reliably
transports payloads of up to six pounds (2.7 kg) as far as 60 feet (18.29 m) and
additional blower packages can be added to increase payload and distance
capabilities. The carrier door opens and closes automatically for customer ease
of use yet can be fully controlled from the operator’s workstation for added
security.
