Two-Way Video for VATs
The CCTV two-way video communication system includes an independent customer unit featuring a 6.4" sunlight viewable flat screen display and a color camera. The Vision Direct™ operator unit is placed at the script delivery station and or work area within the
pharmacy, along with placement at the teller's work station in the Financial Institution. It features a flat screen display, mirror and camera to allow the operator to look directly into the camera when communicating. The system interfaces with Diebold's 816 Audio™ System to provide seamless communication.

816
Audio™
System
The 816 Audio™ System provides clear duplex communication between up to eight
operators and up to sixteen customers. A one-on-one system is also available for
communication with a single customer station. Because communication is such an
essential part of customer service, Diebold developed this system with solid
state circuitry and digital volume control especially designed for today's
drive-up and remote walk-up environments.
System components are housed in the compact Audio Control Module, using solid
pack construction that protects components and eliminates hollow cavities that
can affect audio quality. six customer station selection buttons on the ACM
represent six customer stations at a time. When a customer presses the "CALL"
button, a chime sounds at the ACM and a customers station display light
flashes. When the operator presses the customer station select button, an "in
communication" light indicates that communications is active with that station.
More than one operator can communicate simultaneously with any customer station.
The 816 Audio System features a solid-state digital audio circuitry that
separates voice from ambient noise and eliminates annoying feedback. Unlike
voice-activated systems, this full duplex system provides natural two-way
communication. The microphone on the customer station is recessed to protect
circuitry from weather and maintain audible communications in wind speeds of up
to 24.8 mph (40kph).
The 816 Audio System Queuing Option uses a visual display at the teller's
workstation to provide information about the customer status. The sequential
order that CALL buttons are pressed, and the sequential order carriers are sent
from the customer station are the standard configurations.
In a RemoteTeller™ System (RTS) or drive-up application, the teller is
typically not notified of the presence of a customer unless the customer presses
the Call button located on the VAT customer terminal. The queuing option will
provide a solution to this problem by detecting the arrival of a carrier. It
provides tellers with a mechanism to distinguish these events by displaying the
order that customers press the call button, and the order in which carriers
arrive. Features Digital volume control Advanced audio circuitry Wind Noise
Reduction Optional A privacy handset is also available to ensure confidentiality
during consultations. A remote call chime and strobe light are also available to
alert a teller or pharmacist working at a remote location that a customer is
waiting.
