There you have it. The stories of Diebold from its beginnings 150 years ago in 1859 to today in 2009.

We’ve enjoyed bringing these stories to you. Not so much because of what they tell you about our past and our principles in the long ago and far away. But because of what they tell you about our company and its character in the here and now.

Just as our founder, Carl (Charles) Diebold, established his company on the basis of hard work, excellence and drive, so, too, do we Diebold associates today hold dear those same values.

Where there have been challenges, we met them. When markets changed, we changed with them. When creative, innovative solutions were required, we developed them.
